Field Trip
Due to the Easter Holiday, Spring Craft Day and many people administering
their standardized tests, we will not be having a March fieldtrip.
Spring Craft Day
Craft Day is almost upon us again. The date and location is tentative at
this time, but we will announce it very soon. Get your crafts ready to work
with the children. They can be related to Easter, spring, or anything just
fun! We will craft the morning away. Remember ladies, the idea is easy and
inexpensive. The kids just love to craft!
We would also love to come up with one craft that is more complicated for
the teenagers to do. This could be something that could be given to the
residents at the nursing home.
Bring your family's picnic lunch and a snack to share. If you would plan on
participating, please email Sharon at puryearzoo5@aol.com. If you have any
questions about this event, need help finding a craft or have a special
craft that the teens could do, please email or call at 777-5349.
CHECC Science Fair
The first CHECC Science Fair will be held Friday, March 22 from 7 - 9. The
location is tentatively set for Countryside Presbyterian Church in Cameron.
The science fair will be exhibition only - there will be no judges or
placements given. The projects can be anything science related, including
experiments, demonstrations or collections (leaves, rocks, etc.). We want
this to be an opportunity for the students to share their learning with
others, without the pressure of a competition.
Please contact either Debbie Jackson, 498-2452, or Bonnie Williams, 775-5975
if you would like to participate or if you have any questions.
Baby Gifts
Kris Ragatz has recently been blessed with a baby girl and Tanya Leenheer is
collecting gifts for a gift basket. You can bring gifts to co op school,
MNO or drop them by Tanya's house. Tanya's phone #'s and directions to her
house are listed in the MNO submission on Page 1.
